About the role
The Construction Site Manager will be based on‑site, leading daily operations for MGM Construction’s projects across the North of England. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality construction and fit‑out works safely, on time and within budget.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee all on‑site activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Plan and schedule work, coordinate trades and subcontractors, and manage site logistics.
- Monitor project budgets, perform cost control, and report financial performance to the Commercial Team.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers and other stakeholders to resolve issues and keep the project on track.
- Maintain site records, daily reports and ensure all statutory documentation is up to date.
Required profile
- Current SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS certifications.
- Proven safety leadership and ability to manage site staff.
- Strong planning, organisational and communication abilities.
- Experience in both education and commercial construction projects.
