Consultant Solicitor – Flexible Legal Consultancy

About the role

Richard Nelson LLP is seeking experienced solicitors to join its national network as self‑employed Consultant Solicitors. The role offers full flexibility to work remotely or from office, allowing you to build and manage your own client portfolio while benefiting from the support of a well‑established firm.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a personal caseload of civil and disciplinary matters from inception to resolution.
• Provide high‑quality legal advice and representation to professional and corporate clients.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory obligations and firm insurance requirements.
• Collaborate with the firm’s compliance, admin and accounts teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Participate in regular in‑house training and contribute to the development of legal precedents.

Required profile

• Senior solicitor with post‑qualification experience and a proven ability to manage cases independently.
• Demonstrated track record of generating at least £100,000 annual billing or £8,000 monthly revenue.
• Strong client‑facing skills and a desire to grow a personal client base.
