Contract Officer – Legal & Compliance

About the role

The Contract Officer will support ACE Money Transfer’s Contract & Legal function across the full contract lifecycle. You will draft, review and manage commercial agreements, vendor contracts and internal policies, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely renewal.

Key responsibilities

• Review and draft routine to moderately complex commercial contracts, vendor agreements, NDAs and related correspondence.
• Manage end‑to‑end contract processes – intake, drafting, internal reviews, negotiation support, redlining and execution – in partnership with the Contract Expert and business stakeholders.
• Maintain and update standard terms, service conditions and template clauses across ACE Group entities.
• Assist in drafting, reviewing and updating internal policies, SOPs and governance documents.
• Upload contracts to the CLM system, enter accurate metadata (effective dates, expiry, parties, jurisdictions, financial terms) and keep the contract database current.
• Track contract renewal timelines, maintain logs of incoming, executed, expiring and renewed contracts, and coordinate proactive follow‑ups.
• Control document versioning, ensure consistency between drafts, executed copies and amendments.
• Support the Contract Expert with negotiations, clause benchmarking and formatting to ensure uniform style and cross‑references.
• Maintain contract archives, summaries and compliance documentation for audit readiness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in contract administration, documentation management, legal assistance or compliance support.
• Strong understanding of contract terminology, commercial clauses and documentation practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency with contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems and metadata entry.
