Contracts Manager – Residential, Education & Healthcare Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead a portfolio of new‑build projects across residential, school and healthcare sectors. The role offers autonomy, variety and long‑term stability within a well‑established main contractor.

Key responsibilities

• Manage 2–5 live refurbishment projects concurrently, with values ranging from £1 million to £5 million.
• Take full responsibility from pre‑construction handover through to project completion.
• Oversee site teams, subcontractors and supply‑chain performance.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to high quality standards.
• Maintain strong client relationships, especially in occupied environments.
• Provide regular progress reports to senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager with a main contractor.
• Background in residential, education and healthcare construction.
• Excellent commercial awareness and programme control.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
