Conveyancer – Residential Property Lawyer (Hybrid/Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Conveyancer / Residential Property Lawyer to join our growing team. The role involves managing a full caseload of lease‑hold sales and purchases, delivering high‑quality client service from start to finish, and working within a supportive, technology‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage approximately 60 residential conveyancing matters, focusing on lease‑hold transactions.
• Conduct pre‑contract enquiries, title investigations and advise on covenants, easements and other title issues.
• Prepare and review contracts, transfer deeds, certificates and related documentation.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, surveyors and other third parties to progress transactions to completion.
• Perform anti‑money‑laundering checks and adhere to regulatory and firm risk procedures.
• Provide clear, regular updates to clients and ensure a high standard of client care.
• Support junior fee‑earners and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor, licensed conveyancer or equivalent experience in residential conveyancing.
• Proven experience handling lease‑hold conveyancing matters.
• Strong knowledge of Land Registry processes and title documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail and a risk‑aware approach.
• Ability to manage a caseload, prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using case management systems.
