Conveyancing Paralegal – Residential Property Law

About the role

Join a well‑established law firm in Eltham as a Conveyancing Paralegal, supporting a busy residential property team. You will work alongside experienced conveyancing solicitors, handling a varied caseload and developing the skills to manage your own transactions under supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Assist fee earners with residential conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion.
• Draft legal documents, correspondence and manage client files.
• Prepare Land Registry applications, property searches and SDLT submissions.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and solicitors throughout the process.
• Provide regular updates to clients and third parties.
• Support the wider conveyancing team with administrative and legal tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal.
• Good understanding of the residential conveyancing process.
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Professional, client‑focused communication style.
• Ability to prioritise a busy workload and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience using legal case management systems.
