Conveyancing Paralegal – Residential Property Team

About the role

We are a specialist property law firm based in Camden, looking for a motivated Conveyancing Paralegal to join our growing Residential Property team. This full‑time position offers hands‑on experience across a varied residential conveyancing caseload while working closely with experienced property lawyers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with residential sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.
• Support both freehold and leasehold transactions from instruction through to completion.
• Prepare contract packs, legal documents and completion statements.
• Order and review property searches.
• Handle Land Registry applications and SDLT submissions.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, brokers and management companies.
• Provide regular client updates and manage day‑to‑day communications.
• Assist with exchange, completion and post‑completion matters while maintaining accurate case records.

Required profile

• Up to 4 years' experience in residential conveyancing.
• Previous experience within a residential property team.
• Good understanding of the conveyancing process.
• Experience with leasehold matters is advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and client‑care abilities.
• Proactive, professional approach with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities.
