Cook – Residential Rehab Facility

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Cook to join Ocean Recovery, a leading drug and alcohol rehabilitation clinic in Blackpool. You will play a key part in delivering nutritious, balanced meals that support the health and wellbeing of our residents.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and prepare balanced meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen safety at all times.
• Manage kitchen inventory, order supplies and ensure stock levels are adequate.
• Collaborate with care staff to accommodate special dietary requirements.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organised and compliant with health regulations.
• Engage with residents to gather feedback on meals and adjust menus accordingly.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Cook or Chef, preferably in a care home or similar setting.
• Strong knowledge of dietary needs, restrictions and nutrition.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• City & Guild qualifications in catering are desirable but not essential.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality meals and excellent service.
