About the role

A highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Corporate & Commercial Solicitor to join its team in West Sussex. The role offers high‑quality corporate work, client exposure and strong long‑term development prospects within a supportive, professional and flexible environment. Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied corporate and commercial caseload for a broad range of businesses.
• Handle purchase and sale of businesses.
• Lead mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions.
• Draft and negotiate joint venture and investment agreements.
• Prepare shareholder agreements.
• Draft commercial contracts and terms of business.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years post‑qualification experience in corporate and commercial law.
• Strong technical experience across transactional and advisory work.
• Confident in managing matters independently and advising clients directly.
• Commercially aware with a pragmatic, client‑focused approach.
• Committed to ongoing professional development and career progression.
