Corporate Finance Manager

About the role

The Corporate Finance Manager will lead finance projects within a medium‑sized professional services firm, supporting the Accounting & Finance department in delivering strategic financial solutions. Based in the South East, the role offers a hybrid working model and the chance to influence mergers, acquisitions and investment decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage corporate finance projects, ensuring accurate financial analysis and reporting.
• Provide strategic advice on mergers, acquisitions and investment opportunities.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement financial strategies.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
• Prepare detailed financial models and presentations for internal and external use.
• Support decision‑making by delivering insightful financial data and recommendations.
• Mentor and guide junior team members in the Accounting & Finance department.

Required profile

• Strong educational background in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional qualifications such as ACA or ACCA.
• Proven experience in corporate finance, preferably within an accountancy practice.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
