Corporate Finance Solicitor – Corporate Finance Associate

About the role

We are seeking a Corporate Finance Solicitor to join a nationally recognised law firm’s Cheltenham office. The role offers exposure to high‑value transactions and the chance to develop a strong market profile while working alongside senior partners.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on mergers and acquisitions, management buy‑outs, private equity investments and joint ventures.
• Draft and negotiate shareholder arrangements, corporate restructures and general corporate advisory documents.
• Manage transactions from instruction through to completion, ensuring timely delivery.
• Build and maintain lasting client relationships across a diverse portfolio of businesses and financial institutions.
• Support business development initiatives and contribute to the growth of the corporate finance team.

Required profile

• 2‑6 years post‑qualification experience in corporate finance or a closely related area.
• Strong technical knowledge of corporate finance transactions and commercial awareness.
• Proactive approach to client development and a collaborative working style.
• Ambition to progress within a firm that invests heavily in its people.
