Corporate Finance Solicitor – Corporate Finance Associate

About the role

We are seeking a Corporate Finance Solicitor to join our Cheltenham office as a Corporate Finance Associate. You will work alongside senior partners and experienced lawyers, providing advice on a wide range of high‑value corporate finance transactions for regional and national clients.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on mergers and acquisitions, management buy‑outs, private equity investments, joint ventures and corporate restructures.
• Draft and negotiate shareholder arrangements and other corporate advisory documents.
• Manage transactions from instruction through to completion, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with clients, investors and financial institutions.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and support the growth of the corporate finance team.

Required profile

• 2‑6 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in corporate finance law, or equivalent experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of corporate finance transactions and commercial awareness.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a close‑knit team and deliver practical, solutions‑focused advice.
• Proactive approach to business development and client relationship building.
