Corporate Legal Counsel – Interim ECM & M&A

About the role

We are recruiting an experienced interim lawyer to join the Equity Capital Markets (ECM) and M&A legal team of a leading global financial institution. The role offers the chance to work on a broad range of high‑profile ECM and corporate transactions in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support on equity capital market transactions and M&A deals.
• Draft, review and negotiate transaction documentation, including prospectuses, agreements and regulatory filings.
• Collaborate with internal banking, finance and compliance teams to ensure timely and compliant deal execution.
• Conduct legal research and risk assessments related to corporate transactions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of market regulations and best practices.

Required profile

• Significant experience in ECM and M&A work.
• Background gained at a leading international law firm and/or a major financial institution.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
• Available to start on short notice.
