Corporate Solicitor (1-4 PQE) – Southampton

About the role

We are seeking a Corporate Solicitor to join a leading full‑service law firm in Southampton. The role offers exposure to a diverse client base, ranging from start‑ups to international organisations, and involves both transactional and advisory work.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and review corporate agreements, shareholders’ agreements, joint venture arrangements, share option schemes, family investment companies, family charters and corporate reorganisations.
• Support transactional matters for serial acquirers, private‑equity‑backed businesses and corporate disposals.
• Provide advice on non‑transactional corporate issues.
• Coordinate due‑diligence processes with specialist teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Prepare company secretarial documentation and manage statutory filings.

Required profile

• Corporate law experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Willingness to adopt new technologies and innovative working methods.
• Strong commercial awareness and genuine interest in business and corporate clients.
• High accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and document preparation.
• Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently and take ownership of work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel and Outlook.
