About the role

We are partnering with a highly reputable law firm that is expanding its corporate team. The role is for a qualified solicitor with two years post‑qualification experience (PQE) who will support a range of corporate transactions across Ipswich and Chelmsford. You will benefit from a clear progression pathway, including the prospect of partnership.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with share purchases, sales and corporate reorganisations.
• Draft and negotiate commercial contracts and shareholder agreements.
• Prepare ancillary documentation for transactions.
• Provide legal advice to clients on corporate matters.
• Collaborate with senior partners to ensure seamless deal execution.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of two years PQE.
• Strong interest in corporate law and transactional work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ambition to progress towards partnership.

Required skills
