Corporate Solicitor (8+ PQE) – National Law Firm near Covent Garden

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Solicitor with at least eight years post‑qualification experience to join a nationally‑recognised law firm located near Covent Garden, London. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the firm’s corporate practice, advising private companies, entrepreneurs and fast‑growth businesses across the UK and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage private company M&A transactions typically ranging from £5 million to £10 million+.
• Provide general corporate advisory services, including capital raising, restructuring and exit planning.
• Collaborate with clients on investment, expansion and exit milestones.
• Develop and nurture client relationships and a network of professional referrers.
• Mentor, supervise and develop junior lawyers within the team.

Required profile

• 8+ years post‑qualification experience in corporate law, preferably with a focus on private company M&A.
• Proven ability to generate and grow a client base and a strong network of referrers.
• Experience building or supporting a practice area and working autonomously.
• Strong commercial awareness and a clear vision for the first 100 days in the role.
• Evidence of mentoring and supervising junior lawyers.
• International exposure or language skills that support cross‑border work (highly valued).

Required skills

• Familiarity with legal technology and AI‑enabled tools.
