About the role

An established Eastbourne law firm is seeking an experienced Corporate Solicitor or Corporate Legal Executive to join its corporate and commercial team. The role offers high‑quality transactional work, clear career progression and hybrid working within a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Handle a broad range of corporate and banking matters for clients across varied sectors.
• Manage corporate transactions including acquisitions, disposals, restructurings and share or asset purchases.
• Execute corporate finance and banking transactions.
• Draft and negotiate corporate documentation.
• Advise clients throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Record time and meet fee‑earning targets.
• Support and collaborate with the wider corporate team.

Required profile

• Qualified Corporate Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive.
• Proven experience in corporate transactional work.
• Exposure to corporate finance and banking matters (preferred).
• Strong time‑management skills and ability to meet billing targets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Team‑focused approach with willingness to support colleagues.
