Corporate Tax Manager – Abingdon

About the role

Pro-Finance is seeking a Corporate Tax Manager to join its tax team in Abingdon. This senior position blends technical tax compliance with advisory work, allowing you to interact directly with a diverse client base ranging from owner‑managed businesses to larger corporate groups and charities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied corporate tax portfolio across multiple sectors.
• Review and oversee complex compliance work.
• Deliver advisory projects, including restructures, reconstructions and tax planning.
• Support the development of junior staff and review their work.
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients.
• Collaborate with partners on technical matters and planning assignments.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the tax function.

Required profile

• Strong corporate tax experience gained within an accountancy practice.
• Previous experience at Assistant Manager or Manager level.
• CTA qualified or equivalent.
• Commercially aware and confident dealing directly with clients.
• Technically capable and a good fit for a collaborative team.
