Corporate Tax Manager – UK & Ireland

About the role

The UK and Ireland Tax Manager will support Unilever’s corporate tax function for its UK and Irish entities, including the ultimate parent, Unilever Plc. Reporting to a Tax Senior Manager, the role combines tax compliance, advisory, and business partnering across multiple workstreams.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with finance, legal, company secretarial and external outsourcing teams.
• Prepare quarterly tax provision calculations using Longview and review statutory accounts disclosures.
• Oversee annual tax computations and returns prepared by outsourced providers.
• Provide technical tax analysis on chargeable gains, SSE, RDEC, patent box, transfer pricing and CFC reviews.
• Manage withholding tax compliance, residency certificates and related regulatory filings.
• Maintain the Group tax payment database, calculate CT payments on account and produce cash tax forecasts.
• Liaise with HMRC and Irish Revenue (ROS) on tax balances, repayments and ad‑hoc queries.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate tax within the UK and Ireland.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and tight timelines.
• Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
• Experience working with external tax service providers.
