Corporate Tax Senior – Advisory

About the role

We are seeking a Corporate Tax Senior to join a leading chartered accountancy firm in Fareham. You will deliver high‑quality tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of corporate clients, supporting their tax planning and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert tax planning and advisory, identifying savings and mitigating risks.
• Manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients, ensuring accurate and timely compliance.
• Prepare and review corporate tax returns, computations and supporting documentation.
• Conduct tax research and keep abreast of legislative changes.
• Liaise with HMRC and other authorities on behalf of clients.
• Assist in developing and implementing tax strategies to optimise client positions.
• Mentor and support junior team members.

Required profile

• ATT, ACA, ACCA, CTA qualified or equivalent; candidates studying towards these qualifications are also considered.
• 3‑5 years’ experience in corporate tax within a professional services firm.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation and compliance.
• Excellent analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Proven project‑management skills with ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication, able to explain complex tax matters clearly.
• Proactive, client‑focused attitude.
