About the role

A mid-sized advisory and accountancy practice is seeking a Corporate Tax Senior or Assistant Manager to join its growing tax team. The role combines corporate tax compliance and advisory work for a diverse portfolio of music‑industry clients, offering hybrid working from London.

Key responsibilities

• Review corporate tax computations and returns prepared by junior team members.
• Manage the corporate tax compliance cycle for a varied client portfolio.
• Support a broad range of corporate tax advisory projects.
• Provide technical tax support to clients and internal colleagues.
• Assist with tax planning assignments and transactional work as required.
• Liaise directly with clients, HMRC and internal stakeholders.
• Mentor and review the work of junior staff members.
• Help manage workflow, deadlines and client expectations.
• Develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
• Keep technical knowledge up‑to‑date through continued professional development.

Required profile

• CTA qualified or progressing towards qualification.
• Strong corporate tax knowledge covering both compliance and advisory.
• Experience working with entrepreneurial and owner‑managed businesses.
• Excellent client communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
