Corporate Tax Senior – Bristol

About the role

We are looking for a driven Corporate Tax Senior to join our well‑regarded tax team in Bristol. You will work with a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering both compliance and advisory tax services while collaborating with a multidisciplinary group of over 100 advisors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review corporation tax computations and returns for senior colleagues.
• Support advisory projects such as capital allowances, R&D claims, tax due diligence and transaction restructuring.
• Mentor and develop junior staff through day‑to‑day guidance.
• Conduct tax technical research for broader project work.
• Handle tax‑related administrative duties and assist with marketing and business development activities.
• Maintain relationships with clients, HMRC and other professional advisers.
• Collaborate with audit teams on annual tax assignments.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in corporate tax compliance.
• ATT/CTA or ACA/CTA qualified, or part‑qualified with a clear intention to study for CTA.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal skills and quick rapport building with clients.

Required skills

• Experience with Alphatax software (beneficial).
