Corporate Tax Senior – Hybrid Working – Bristol

About the role

We are seeking a Corporate Tax Senior to join our growing Bristol team. This full‑time, hybrid position offers the chance to move beyond routine compliance and gain extensive advisory and project experience across a diverse client portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare corporation tax computations and returns for a varied portfolio of corporate clients.
• Manage compliance assignments from start to completion.
• Support managers and senior colleagues on complex corporate tax matters.
• Assist with tax advisory projects, including transactions, due diligence and corporate restructuring.
• Work on capital allowances and R&D tax relief claims.
• Develop expertise in share schemes and other specialist corporate tax areas.
• Conduct technical tax research.
• Liaise directly with clients, HMRC and other professional advisers.
• Collaborate with audit colleagues on annual corporate tax assignments.
• Mentor junior team members and build long‑term client relationships.

Required profile

• Previous experience in UK corporate tax, preferably within an accountancy practice.
• ATT, ACA and/or CTA qualification, or working towards one.
• Strong knowledge of corporation tax compliance.
• Interest in expanding tax advisory experience.
• Excellent communication and client‑facing abilities.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Experience with Alphatax is advantageous but not essential.
