Corporate Tax Senior Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Corporate Tax Senior Manager to join a nationally respected tax team in our modern Stockton‑on‑Tees office. The role offers a blend of technical tax work and leadership, reporting to senior tax partners and driving the development of a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate clients across large SMEs and mid‑market groups.
• Lead advisory projects in international tax, due diligence, R&D tax relief, capital allowances and venture capital tax reliefs.
• Support Tax Partners on complex client matters and technical queries.
• Line‑manage and mentor a team of 10‑15 tax professionals, including managers and trainees.
• Contribute to workflow planning, team development and identification of new business opportunities.

Required profile

• CTA qualification (ACA/ACCA also acceptable) with strong post‑qualification experience.
• Background in corporate or mixed tax within a mid‑tier, large independent or Top 100 practice.
• Proven experience managing or mentoring tax professionals.
• Comfortable delivering advisory‑led work and engaging with clients.
• Collaborative, commercially‑aware mindset.
