Court of Protection Paralegal – Full or Part‑time

About the role

We are seeking a Court of Protection Paralegal to join a well‑regarded law firm in Kent. The position offers the chance to work closely with clients on private‑client and Court of Protection matters, providing a high level of personal service and responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with clients and referrers.
• Manage client care from initial instruction through to file closure.
• Handle the financial aspects of cases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of client and firm information.
• Support the wider team with administrative and legal duties as required.
• Occasionally travel for client visits.

Required profile

• Qualified Legal Executive or experienced Paralegal.
• Background in Private Client or Court of Protection work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Empathetic, patient and client‑focused.
• Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines.
• Driver with access to a car.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Audio typing capability.
