Court of Protection Solicitor – £45,000 to £55,000 + Benefits

About the role

We are seeking a Court of Protection Solicitor or Legal Executive to join our recognised team in Cambridgeshire. The successful candidate will work on a diverse caseload for clients with serious personal injury, clinical negligence, and private client matters, delivering a highly personal service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Court of Protection matters for clients with complex injury and negligence cases.
• Provide legal advice and representation to private clients within the firm’s thriving private client team.
• Collaborate closely with senior lawyers and support staff to ensure high‑quality outcomes.
• Maintain accurate case records and meet statutory deadlines.
• Contribute to the development of the team’s practice through proactive learning.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year post‑qualification experience (PQE) in Court of Protection law.
• Demonstrated empathy and sensitivity when dealing with vulnerable clients.
• Flexible, proactive attitude with a willingness to develop professionally.
• Strong teamwork skills and commitment to an inclusive workplace.
