Cover Supervisor

About the role

Reeson Education is seeking a reliable and confident Cover Supervisor to step into classrooms when the regular teacher is absent. You will work in a structured, dynamic school environment in Doncaster, starting September 2026, delivering pre‑set lessons and maintaining a focused learning atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑set lessons and ensure pupils stay on task.
• Maintain strong behaviour management and uphold school policies.
• Encourage participation and support pupils in completing assigned work.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil performance and behaviour.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth lesson delivery.

Required profile

• Experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• A calm, confident approach to managing groups and handling challenging situations.
• Proactive and reliable work ethic.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through Reeson Education.
