Creative Designer – Wallcoverings & Textiles

About the role

Sketch Twenty3 is seeking a talented Designer to join its close‑knit creative team in Stockport. You will shape inspiring wallcoverings, textiles and decorative products for the mid‑ to high‑end global interiors market, guiding ideas from concept through to production and international exhibition.

Key responsibilities

• Develop original designs and product collections for wallcoverings and decorative interiors.
• Take artwork from initial concept to production‑ready files.
• Collaborate with the design team to create commercially successful collections.
• Create and manipulate room sets, lifestyle imagery and engaging online content.
• Maintain website, blog and digital brand assets.
• Build strong relationships with customers and partners across global markets.
• Manage workloads, meet tight deadlines and oversee factory sampling with overseas manufacturers.
• Support planning, creation and attendance of international trade exhibitions.
• Monitor industry trends and identify new product development opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven design experience in wallcovering, textile or decorative interiors.
• Strong colour sense, eye for detail and aesthetic judgment.
• Understanding of print manufacturing processes and production techniques.
• Ability to spot emerging trends and translate them into market‑ready designs.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AVA.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, including colour separation.
