Credit Analyst – International Bank (London)

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established international bank in the City of London to hire a Credit Analyst on a permanent basis. This hands‑on role sits within a small, close‑knit team where you will own the full credit lifecycle and work across the department.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and support new business opportunities.
• Prepare credit applications for the Credit Committee and Head Office.
• Respond to queries from internal stakeholders, including Head Office.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, following up on information and requests.
• Liaise with Credit Administration and external lawyers to ensure facility agreements are executed correctly.
• Produce departmental reports for management and Head Office.
• Plan and attend client meetings, including renewal discussions.
• Conduct credit reviews of existing clients.
• Complete all KYC/CDD documentation for lending activities.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date credit files.
• Support the wider team with additional duties as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Credit Analyst within a UK bank.
• Strong credit analysis skills across lending products.
• Experience preparing facility agreements.
• Ability to manage end‑to‑end credit processes.
• Confidence working directly with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Proactive, hands‑on approach with a willingness to “roll up your sleeves”.
