Credit Controller

About the role

Orka Financial is seeking a confident Credit Controller to join its finance team in Camberley. The role offers the chance to manage your own sales ledger, build customer relationships and make a real impact on cash flow.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of a sales ledger, ensuring outstanding debts are collected efficiently and professionally.
• Proactively chase overdue invoices via telephone and email.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to resolve payment queries.
• Reconcile customer accounts and allocate incoming payments.
• Investigate and resolve invoice and account discrepancies.
• Monitor credit limits and assess customer creditworthiness.
• Produce aged debt reports and provide regular updates on collection activity.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues and improve cash flow.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Credit Controller role.
• Good understanding of credit control functions and best practices.
• Ability to manage own ledger and prioritize workload.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with finance/accounting systems.
