Credit Portfolio Risk Analyst – Bracknell

About the role

3M is seeking a Credit Portfolio Risk Analyst to join its Bracknell team. You will work closely with global partners to analyse credit risk, monitor portfolio performance and support data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Support the lead manager with customer credit analysis and risk rating.
• Monitor and proactively manage risk exposures and compliance with credit policies.
• Analyse credit data to develop practical portfolio problem‑solving models.
• Track accounts‑receivable credit quality, aging, trends and advise business leaders on actions.
• Prepare management reporting for key performance indicators.
• Collaborate with the CIR organization to implement global governance frameworks.
• Review and approve credit limit and payment term requests.
• Participate in cross‑functional initiatives for process improvement, centralisation and standardisation.
• Provide financial counsel on DSO initiatives and influence business decisions.
• Lead SAP readiness and deployment activities related to credit risk.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
• Credit‑related professional certification preferred.
• Significant experience in credit risk management.
• Experience in data analytics, data management and accounts‑receivable analysis.
• Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis and basic accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical reasoning and communication skills.
• Experience in credit and collections preferred.
• Proficiency in SAP preferred.
