About the role
Microsoft’s Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) Learning team is looking for a Critical Environment Technical Trainer to design and deliver technical training for datacenter staff. The role is based on‑site in a Microsoft datacenter and focuses on building the skills needed to operate core cloud services such as Azure, Office 365, Bing, Xbox and OneDrive.
Key responsibilities
- Align training preparation with measurable metrics such as cloud consumption and learner feedback.
- Develop and deliver single‑day to multi‑day instructor‑led courses, both in‑person and virtually, using presentations, labs, simulations and digital resources.
- Maintain up‑to‑date learning content that reflects the latest features, technologies and processes.
- Conduct workforce training needs analysis and support procedural change‑management activities.
- Evaluate training effectiveness, generate reports and provide coaching to support learner career growth.
Required profile
- Strong technical background with experience in Microsoft cloud and datacenter environments.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and ability to design engaging technical curricula.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset for working with cross‑functional teams.
- Willingness to work on‑site in a datacenter with limited remote options.
