CSCS Labourer

About the role

We are partnering with a leading site service company to recruit permanent CSCS‑qualified Labourers for delivery and set‑up work across Essex. The role involves arriving at construction sites early, unloading materials, and ensuring they are positioned correctly for the day's work.

Key responsibilities

• Meet delivery vehicles at assigned sites and safely off‑load goods into the appropriate houses or flats.
• Position items accurately according to site instructions and documentation.
• Capture photographic evidence of completed deliveries to confirm successful setup.
• Communicate professionally with site teams, clients, and co‑workers.
• Collect a co‑working labourer en‑route to the site when required.

Required profile

• Valid CSCS card (CITB Certified).
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items.
• Reliable, punctual, and presentable with strong customer‑service attitude.
• Willingness to travel up to 2 hours from home and attend a paid 5‑day training course.

Required skills

• Ability to follow written instructions and diagrams.

What we offer

• Daily rate of £110‑£130, Monday‑Friday, 6 am start.
• Paid training (£400) plus fuel allowance of £0.25 per mile.
• Mileage reimbursement at 25p per mile after the first 30 miles.
