Customer Advisor – Argos (in Sainsbury's)

About the role

Argos, a leading UK digital retailer, is hiring a Customer Advisor for its Bromley store (BR1 1TP) as part of a fixed-term assignment running until 2 January 2027. The role is part-time, at 8 hours per week, paid at £14.54 per hour, and covers the Christmas period. Most roles are part-time across a variety of shifts, including weekdays and weekends, with hours scheduled to fit around your availability.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service on the tills, website screens on the shopfloor and at the collection counter.
• Collect products from the stock area for customers, take payments, give details on financial service offerings for certain products and process refunds.
• Help customers with questions on the shop floor and advise on a wide range of products, supporting in the stock room when the store is quiet.
• Build knowledge of products, services and promotions to make good recommendations.

Required profile

• Above the school-leaving age in your country.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Friendly, welcoming and able to talk clearly about financial services when customers buy certain products.
• Comfortable working at pace in a busy, physical environment and ready to step in where needed.
• Uses digital tools confidently and keeps the store clean, safe and clutter-free.
