Customer Assistant – Brighton Club (Weekend Shifts)

About the role

Join BUZZ Bingo’s Brighton club as a part‑time Customer Assistant, working two weekend evenings (Saturday and Sunday, 6 pm‑2 am). This 16‑hour contract role focuses on delivering exceptional, personalised service to our guests while supporting a safe and enjoyable environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build rapport with customers and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Assist across all club areas – front of house, book sales, treasury, gaming machines, bar, kitchen and general housekeeping.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, including regular checks of toilets and public areas.
• Support the line manager with additional duties as required.
• Promote a safer gambling environment for customers and colleagues, both on‑site and online.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering first‑class, face‑to‑face customer service, preferably in hospitality, retail or leisure.
• Excellent communication skills adaptable to varied situations.
• Experience handling cash and basic numeracy.
• Confidence to enforce company policies and challenge non‑compliant behaviour.
• Must be 18 years or older.
