Customer Assistant - Part Time

About the role

Sainsbury's is hiring a part-time Customer Assistant for its East Prescot Road store in Liverpool (L14 5PT). The role is permanent, paid at £13.23 per hour, and involves 12 hours per week. Shifts are planned within the availability window shown and shared three weeks in advance; flexible working is supported.

Key responsibilities

• Put customers first with thoughtful, friendly and helpful service
• Help wherever needed: filling shelves, picking orders, serving customers and selling products
• Use digital tools to do the job well and improve the customer experience
• Organise and move stock, keeping shelves tidy, clean and well-presented and moving heavy loads to the right place
• Build knowledge of products, services and promotions to recommend them confidently

Required profile

• Above the school-leaving age in your country
• Right to work in the UK
• Friendly, enthusiastic about helping customers and able to thrive in a fast-paced, physical environment
• Team player who is flexible and open to learning new digital tools
