Customer Category Controller – Ice Cream

About the role

Ferrero is seeking a Customer Category Controller to shape winning category strategies for its ice‑cream portfolio. The role blends commercial insight with data storytelling to influence customer plans, drive growth, and strengthen Ferrero’s partnership with key retailers.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse category, shopper and customer data to uncover growth opportunities, risks and drivers across Ferrero brands.
• Develop and align category plans with sales, marketing and customer teams, ensuring they support Ferrero’s commercial objectives.
• Lead customer‑category conversations, providing objective advice on ranging, merchandising and promotional strategies.
• Translate complex data into compelling recommendations and presentations that influence decision‑making.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with customers, acting as the go‑to category expert.
• Share best practices within the Customer Category function and contribute to a high‑performing team culture.

Required profile

• Experience in Category Management, Customer Category or Commercial Insight within a fast‑paced FMCG environment.
• Strong analytical capability with the ability to turn data into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Excellent relationship‑building and influencing skills across sales, marketing and customer teams.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic setting and proactive in problem‑solving.
