Customer Sales Assistant

About the role

Join Travis Perkins in Cardiff as a Customer Sales Assistant, delivering top‑class service to customers both in‑store and over the phone. You will work in a busy yard environment, handling orders, loading vehicles and ensuring deliveries are booked accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong customer relationships and provide tailored product advice.
• Process orders, load and unload stock, and record deliveries in the system.
• Promote additional products and services to meet customer needs.
• Maintain high safety standards throughout the yard and warehouse.

Required profile

• Physically able to handle heavy and bulky stock safely.
• Deliver a best‑in‑class sales experience through positive interactions.
• Self‑motivated, able to multitask and stay organised in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team‑player willing to support colleagues across the branch.
