Customer Service Advisor

About the role

This is an office‑based Customer Service Advisor position in Banbury, supporting a busy sales order processing team. You will be responsible for ensuring key performance indicators are met while delivering high‑quality service to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Confirm receipt of orders within 24 hours and apply credit control policies.
• Process sales orders through to delivery, arrange haulage, and raise customs documentation when required.
• Maintain contract, shipment, and quality certificate records; raise sales invoices and handle customer enquiries and straightforward complaints.
• Process purchase orders, validate invoices, and communicate with suppliers.
• Control stock: order, receive, record, rotate, and reconcile weekly balances.
• Support internal communications with accounts, sales managers, and quality departments.
• Carry out additional duties as requested and ensure timely filing.

• Attention to detail for accurate record‑keeping and stock control.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple processes simultaneously.
