Customer Service Agent – Immediate Start

About the role

Swissport is seeking a Customer Service Agent to join its team at Edinburgh Airport. The role involves providing friendly, professional assistance to passengers throughout their journey, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet passengers and assist with check‑in, luggage handling and boarding.
• Answer inquiries about flight schedules, baggage policies and airport services.
• Ensure compliance with airline and airport regulations, including security and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to maintain efficient operations.
• Resolve passenger concerns and complaints promptly and empathetically.
• Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, documentation and reporting.
• Apply environmental processes and follow the QHSE Manual.

Required profile

• Prior experience in customer service, hospitality or a related field (advantageous).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and remain composed under pressure.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays and evenings.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and attention to detail.
