Customer Service Assistant

About the role

Join Specsavers in Banbury as a Customer Service Hearcare Assistant. You will provide essential administrative support for our audiology services, handling NHS forms, phone enquiries and appointment scheduling while ensuring a smooth customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Process NHS audiology paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Answer inbound calls, respond to general queries and direct customers to the appropriate service.
• Update, file and organise customer records in line with store procedures.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, managing the daily diary efficiently.
• Support the store team by delivering high‑quality administrative service.

Required profile

• Previous experience in administration, call centre or reception roles.
• Comfortable working in a busy retail environment.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with clear communication skills.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy for data entry and record keeping.
