Customer Service Executive – 12‑month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

An organised, detail‑focused Customer Service Executive is needed to support a growing consumer‑products business. The role sits at the heart of operations, linking customers, sales, finance and a third‑party fulfilment partner to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Process and manage customer sales orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain customer delivery specifications and operational records.
• Monitor order volumes against stock allocations and customer forecasts.
• Produce proforma invoices and liaise with the Finance team.
• Communicate with customers regarding deliveries, order status and stock availability.
• Track orders through a third‑party fulfilment centre to ensure timely dispatch.
• Investigate and resolve fulfilment, inventory and logistical challenges.
• Coordinate product reworks with the 3PL distribution partner.
• Manage backorders and ensure orders are fulfilled as stock becomes available.
• Produce regular reports on sales order activity and dispatch performance.
• Support the wider Operations team during peak trading periods.
• Maintain awareness of business sales targets and customer priorities.

Required profile

• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Experience in order management, customer operations, logistics or supply‑chain coordination.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proactive problem‑solving mindset.
