Customer Service Executive

About the role

Join a leading UK distributor of sign‑making materials and equipment as a Customer Service Executive. You will handle inbound enquiries, proactively reach out to existing and lapsed customers, and work to maximise sales from current accounts while delivering exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone, email and online channels.
• Proactively contact existing and lapsed customers to promote products, offers and new lines.
• Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities across the product range.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity in the CRM system.
• Liaise with warehouse, logistics and purchasing teams to ensure smooth order processing.
• Support field sales representatives with account strategies and handovers.
• Meet or exceed sales targets, KPIs and revenue goals.

Required profile

• Proven sales and business development experience or a strong customer service background.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident, persuasive and proactive attitude.
• Organised with the ability to prioritise in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team player with a problem‑solving mindset.
