Internal Account Manager

About the role

Join a leading UK distributor of sign‑making materials and equipment as an Internal Account Manager. You will provide reactive sales support for inbound enquiries and proactively reach out to existing and lapsed customers to generate new business and maximise revenue from current accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone, email and online channels.
• Contact existing and lapsed customers to promote products, offers and new lines.
• Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities across the product range.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity in the CRM system.
• Coordinate with warehouse, logistics and purchasing teams to ensure smooth order processing.
• Collaborate with field sales representatives to support account strategies and handovers.
• Meet or exceed sales targets, KPIs and revenue goals.

Required profile

• Proven sales or strong customer‑service background with a desire to move into sales.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident, persuasive and proactive attitude.
• Organised, able to prioritise in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team‑player with a problem‑solving mindset.
