About the role
Join Barclays as a Personal Banker and help make a real difference to customers every day. You will be the friendly face for Retail Banking customers in branch or local hubs, providing expertise, guidance and support with each interaction.
Key responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service through chat, email and phone, handling complex queries and delivering personalised solutions.
- Collaborate with teams across the bank to align and integrate customer‑care processes.
- Identify areas for improvement, recommend changes and coach colleagues on best practices.
- Develop and implement procedures and controls to mitigate risk and maintain efficient operations.
- Resolve specific inquiries related to accounts, transactions and payments.
- Produce reports and presentations on customer‑care performance for senior stakeholders.
