About the role
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Newcastle upon Tyne on a six‑month contract. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling enquiries about loan accounts and ensuring a high level of service.
Key responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls and respond to customer queries regarding loan accounts.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate internal teams.
- Maintain accurate records while handling sensitive personal data in compliance with GDPR.
- Work towards defined KPIs in a fast‑paced environment.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a contact centre or customer service role.
- Understanding of FCA rules and regulations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in banking, insurance or other financial services is preferred.
Required skills
- Customer service and call handling.
- Knowledge of GDPR compliance.
- Familiarity with FCA regulatory framework.
What we offer
- Competitive hourly rate of £15.54.
- Six‑month contract with the possibility of extension.
- On‑site work at our Newcastle office (NE27 0BY).
