Customer Services Advisor – Basingstoke

About the role

As a Customer Services Advisor you will be the first point of contact for around 140,000 customers, handling their queries and ensuring a smooth resolution. You will work 37 hours a week on a rota between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm, initially based in our Basingstoke office with the option to move to hybrid working after six months.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and respond to customer enquiries, primarily about home repairs.
• Own and resolve customer issues, turning problems into solutions.
• Use multiple internal systems while speaking with customers.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the business to deliver consistent service.

Required profile

• Strong customer service orientation with active listening skills.
• Resilience to handle complex and difficult calls.
• Empathy and a genuine passion for helping people.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both customers and internal teams.
• Understanding of typical home repair issues is an advantage.
