Customer Software Trainer

About the role
We are looking for a Customer Software Trainer to join a fast‑growing SaaS business. You will own the full onboarding and training experience, turning a manual, inconsistent process into a structured, repeatable and scalable system that accelerates time‑to‑value and drives stronger product adoption.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver structured onboarding programmes aligned with implementation timelines.
- Run engaging live and recorded training sessions, as well as on‑site workshops when required.
- Create role‑based learning journeys for different user types.
- Build and maintain a scalable training academy with videos, guides and other learning resources.
- Develop clear playbooks covering workflows, integrations, APIs and best‑practice usage.
- Create assessments and certification frameworks to validate learning.
- Continuously evolve training materials based on product updates and customer feedback.
- Train internal teams on platform functionality and ensure consistent messaging across customer‑facing functions.
- Support onboarding and ramp‑up of new hires through structured learning programmes.
- Drive improved product adoption, reduce onboarding time and identify recurring knowledge gaps to feed back into product development.
Required profile
- Experience training or enabling users on a SaaS platform.
- Ability to simplify and explain technical concepts such as workflows, integrations or APIs.
- Experience designing structured training programmes or learning journeys.
- Confident presentation and facilitation skills, both online and in person.
- Highly organised, process‑driven approach with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working cross‑functionally with Customer Success, Sales, Product and Technical teams.

What we offer
- Salary £40,000‑£60,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
- Leeds office‑based role.
- 30 days holiday (increasing by one day per year of service, up to 35) plus bank holidays and a work anniversary day off.
