About the role

Mpeople Recruitment is looking for a Customer Support Advisor to join a busy team in Burnley. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling enquiries and resolving issues in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls and respond to customer enquiries.
  • Resolve issues, provide clear advice and process payments.
  • Update customer records and maintain accurate system documentation.
  • Monitor account alerts, contact customers when needed, and support basic troubleshooting.

Required profile

  • Previous experience in a customer service or contact‑centre setting.
  • Strong communication abilities and good IT literacy.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet performance targets.
  • Professional, customer‑focused attitude and DBS clearance.

    What we offer

    • Hybrid working after training (3 days in the office).
    • Temporary contract for 6–12 months, 37.5 hours per week.
    • Competitive hourly rate of £12.71 – £14.27.
