Customer Team Leader

About the role

Join Co‑op as a Customer Team Leader and take the next step toward managing your own store. You will lead a small team in a fast‑paced store, delivering essential services such as post office, bakery, online orders and home delivery, while helping to make life easier for the local community.

Key responsibilities

• Own the day‑to‑day running of the store during your shift.
• Motivate, coach and support team members to deliver excellent service and efficient operations.
• Work hands‑on on the shop floor and tills, setting the pace for Customer Team Members.
• Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy and HR processes.
• Champion Co‑op through community engagement and membership growth.

Required profile

• Passion for people and leadership.
• Ability to work flexibly and lead by example.
• Retail, merchandising or team‑management experience (not essential).
• Must be aged 18+ to authorise age‑related sales.
